The GoImpact Green Tech Summit 2026 opened in Hong Kong on 21 October, bringing more than 50 experts and leaders and over 400 participants together under the theme of turning climate risks into opportunities.

The third edition of the summit runs on 21–22 October at the Fullerton Ocean Park Hotel in Hong Kong. Now in its third year, the annual gathering has become a signature meeting point for cross-sector expertise on the green transition, according to the organisers.

GoImpact, the organiser, says this year’s agenda is designed to move beyond discussion, giving participants space to examine shared challenges, connect perspectives and identify opportunities for meaningful progress.

GoImpact Green Tech Summit 2026: green capital at scale

Joseph Chan, Under Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury of the Hong Kong government, opened the summit as guest of honour. He said Hong Kong would continue to use its financial structures and technological innovation to connect green projects with international capital.

“To achieve a green and sustainable future, we need green capital at an unprecedented scale,” Chan said, adding that Hong Kong would keep working with partners to build a greener future.

Helene Li, chief executive and co-founder of GoImpact, said the meeting point of green technology and climate action remained central. “The intersection of green and tech continues to be the important nexus driving actions and results in a world that faces increasingly harsh consequences of climate change-related risks,” she said.

Who is behind the summit

Corporate partners supporting the summit include HSBC, Swiss Reinsurance, Stephenson Harwood and Sino Group. The City University of Hong Kong is the academic partner, and the US Green Building Council is the learning partner, alongside trade associations as community partners.

The summit’s focus reflects a wider shift in climate events: from pledges alone towards finance, technology and practical projects that can cut emissions and build resilience against climate risks.
