Den amerikanske præsident, Donald Trump, har delt et landkort på sociale medier, hvor Grønland er markeret som en del af USA. Det har fået den danske statsminister, Mette Frederiksen, til at reagere og kalde det for ‘absurd’.

Trump Og Grønland: En Historie Om Territoriale Krav

Det er ikke første gang, at Trump har udtrykt interesse for at købe Grønland fra Danmark. I 2019 fik han en del opmærksomhed for sine udtalelser om, at USA burde overveje at købe den danske ø. Det fik den danske regering til at afvise ideen og understrege, at Grønland er en del af Danmark og ikke noget, der kan købes eller sælges.
